Deformation Monitoring

GLM Lasermeßtechnik provides 3D measurement systems for manual and automatic deformation analyses. Deformation monitoring (monitoring for short) is the systematic and permanent monitoring of the change of a shape (3-D object geometry) or dimension of one or more objects. This type of monitoring is with our systems to monitor the following:

• Bridges
• Power plants
• Dams
• Tunnels
• Pressure lines
• Building monitoring during a construction project

The accuracy depends on the task and usually is within a millimeter or tenth of a millimeter range.
