The electronic field unit SDR4 by Sokkia

The SDR4 was sold from 1991 to 2004 by GLM Lasermeßtechnik GmbH. This field unit was an integral part of the 3D coordinate measuring system called MONMOS. The SDR software was one of the innovations at the time. This software made it possible to carry out quick actual-nominal comparison directly on site.

The SDR4 was replaced by the Panasonic CF-P1 notebook in 2004. The current successor model is the Archer by Juniper Systems.

Both systems use the GLM software "3-Dim Observer," which has significant advantages compared with the SDR software.

Spare parts for the SDR4 are no longer available.
