The motorized NET1 offers the highest level of efficiency in industrial measurements and in monitoring applications.
The NET1 combines all current technological advantages of our time in one instrument such as auto-pointing, auto-tracking, reflectorless measurements or wireless connections with the field data collector for a broad range of measuring activities.
The NET1 automatically searches and measures for prisms and reflective targets (auto-pointing to prisms up to 1000 m). An intelligent auto-pointing algorithm is used for the exact determination of targets and prisms, even if several targets are within the field of view of the telescope. This new algorithm is indispensable for automatic deformation measurements requiring the measuring of fixed targets at specific intervals around the clock. This instrument has an angle accuracy of 1" (0.0003 gon).
The smallest display units are 0.5" (0.0001 gon) and 0.0001 m. SOKKIA utilizes a highly developed phase-comparison method for an extremely high degree of linear distance accuracy. Long ranges (e.g. reflectorless up to 200 m) make it possible to measure very large objects.
The typical linear distance accuracies to reflective targets and prisms amounts to 0.3 mm. Reflectorless measurements have typical accuracies of 0.5 mm.
What is so revolutionary about RED-tech EX?Two commonly used measuring techniques are used in industrial surveying applications: pulse and phase-comparison method. SOKKIA's revolutionary RED-tech EX signal processing technology uses phase-comparison and a hitherto unique process that allows for the analysis of four frequencies simultaneously. The integrated processor continuously compares thousands of measurements with the periodically processed data. Signal interferences due to atmospheric fluctuations or drop-outs (due to cars or branches, for example) are localized and eliminated. Only true data flows into the phase deviation calculation. The phase deviation, in turn, is the correcting quantity used to achieve optimal linear distance measuring values. The RED-tech EX process is also equipped with intelligent learning structures that enable it to deliver increasingly more accurate repeated measurements. This combination of digital signal processing and phase-comparison algorithms SOKKIA total stations simply have more to offer than other, comparable systems - the best degree of precision and accuracy, repeatability, and reliability.
With its excellent resistance to water and dust (IP64), the NET1 is protected from all environmental impacts. Bluetooth® technology offers wireless communication with an external PC or field data collector. The NET1 also includes an expandable Windows CE operating system and an excellent TFT LCD touch screen display.
