SOKKIA's B1C: Ultra Precise, Rugged, and Compact!

32x telescope zoom with 0.8 mm standard deviation on 1-km double-run leveling.
The B1C can be equipped with the optional parallel plate micrometer OM1, which increases accuracy to an astonishing 0.5 mm. Contrary to the B1 model, the B1C is fitted with a horizontal circle used to easily and quickly read the horizontal angle up to 360° or 400 Gon.

Quick and Easy Setup

Using a spherical-head tripod, setting up the B1C is fast and easy. Slide the unit along the tripod head for a quick approximate leveling of the circular bubble. The instrument is ready to go in no time. And off you go! Of course, the unit is also compatible with flat-head tripods.

Reliable Compensator

Just align the unit roughly - the compensator with magnetic damping action suspended on wires takes care of the rest because it ensures stability for quickly establishing the horizontal collimation line even under rapidly changing atmospheric conditions, vibration, and shock.

Precise Collimation

The B1C features an endless horizontal motion drive with two knobs, operable with right or left hand, to quickly sight the target.  Two-speed focusing for precise targeting. The telescope optical system with 32x zoom delivers a bright and clear image.

Easy Distance Measuring

The Reichenbach distance wires on the reticule allow easy calculation of distance when sighting the leveling staff by reading the distance between the lower and upper telescope marking and multiplying that value with the factor 100.
