Due to the special challenges at sea, 3D surveying takes on a key role here. Only the use of a 3D measuring system guarantees exact assembly and precise adjustment as well as efficient control of the geometry, because reworking can not be done on the open sea.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.glm-laser.com\/glm\/optical-survey-instruments\/sokkia-net05axii\/?lang=en\">Sokkia&#8217;s and Topon&#8217;s modern total stations<\/a> are specially designed for use in rough conditions. Normally, the two-axis compensator always guarantees a stable measurement. However, this is not possible due to movements on the open sea.
