It is quite time-consuming to determine a new location for the measuring head for each of these points. One possible solution are target rods. With these you can measure points and record them from one point. The concept behind this is quite simple but efficient. By means of the 2 or 4 points, which lie on a straight line and whose distance is known, the coordinate of the measuring point is determined by a geometrical calculation. The recommended target distance is 20m.

GLM provides five different target rods and two different holders:

Magnetic holder, light

Description: DZ_Mod_base_holder

Code number: OMS5100740

Magetic base holder, heavy

Description: DZ_Mod_base_holder_heavy

Code number: OMS5100412

Fourfold target adapter

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://www.glm-laser.com/glm/wp-content/uploads/DZ4-Kopie-1-1024x100.jpg" alt="Fourfold target for hidden points.
