Hydraulic steel structures
Steel water constructions are affected by the water. They have to withstand enormous loads. Therefore, during the production a continuous checking of the dimensional accuracy is necessary. Also during the later installation, continuous controls are required.
A large number of steel water constructions were built in the first half of the last century. Meanwhile they are at the end of their life time and have to be replaced. To ensure that the replica can be fitted safely into the existing systems, the current structures must be surveyed on site. This is where the full benefits of our mobile 3D measuring system show up.
