Machine alignment

Perfect alignment of individual machine elements is very difficult to achieve in practice. Misalignments such as angular and parallel displacement or badly aligned shafts are therefore often to occur. However, precise alignment of individual system components is crucial, as it increases energy efficiency on the one hand and has a significant effect on the MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) on the other hand. With our 3D measuring system you can do this smoothly and effortlessly.

Fields of application are among others:

• Measurement of paper machines
• Kiln measurement

Advantages Compared with Theodolites:

• A known instrument location is not required. Definition of the instrument location with only two known measuring points.
• The measurements are recorded digitally by the field logger and data collector 3-DIM Observer. Data post-processing in 3-DIM PC-Basic allows for the documentation of the assembly accuracy.
• Targets can be captured using auto-pointing.
