Adapter for relocation

In the steel and plant construction industry, there are not always good visual conditions for surveying. Several locations are usually necessary. By using industrial tripods some problems are already solved.

The choice of the position of the relocation marks is extremely important. Hereby the quality and speed of the surveying is decreasing and increasing. The classical bases as well as the rotation target for the relocation come here to the limit of their possibilites. For this reason, two special adapters for relocation have been developed.

Relocation marker special

If no magnetically stable surfaces are available and the surface is very uneven, the use of the adapters “Relocation marker special” is recommended. By using these adapters, you will obtain location-stable change of location points.

Relocation marker temporary

On extended construction sites it can be very useful to create a fixed point network with 10-20 fixed points. A more economical option can be realised with “relocation marker temporary”. Simply drill holes [6mm] at the desired positions on metal and fit the temporary nests on the day of measurement. A centring pin helps to set up the individual points. After the measurement, the magnetic nests can be removed again.

High-End”  Rotary target

Since 1991, the RT50N relocation target has been used as the standard target for relocation. In recent years, the distance measurement accuracy of the 3D measurement systems has been significantly improved. With the RTKug1.5, distance measurement accuracies (from 1.3m to 20m target range) of +/- 2/10mm can be expected.
